Mount Logan 2018
After a successful summit of Denali in 2015, we set our sights on a new big objective. Without the crowds and safety of other parties and search and rescue teams as seen on Denali, we aim to climb Mount Logan, North America’s second highest mountain. Located in the Yukon Territory in Canada, this trip will require over a full year of preparation, dedicated individuals, lots of gear from our dedicated sponsors, and a lot of funding from our faithful donors. We plan on having a coed team of 8 military veterans participate with an estimated cost of $17,000. This money will be spent on logistics for the training’s and the expedition to include vehicle support, gas, lodging, transportation, food, non-sponsored gear, and flights to the glacier for our entire team.
This expedition is currently not funded and looking for sponsors/donors. Our sponsors have stepped up with gear and some cash to bring our total needed to $17,000. Without our sponsors help, this expedition to climb the tallest mountain in Canada would cost two or three times as much. Mt. Logan is the “largest” mountain in the world.
Big thank you to our expedition sponsors: Osprey, Therm-a-rest, Hilleberg, Yeti, Sterling Rope, and more to come.
