VetEx 2015 Winter Recap

This winter we ran snowshoe and ice climbing trips in New Hampshire, New York, and Colorado. Hundreds of military veterans attended our trips. Our 1st Annual VetFest in North Conway, New Hampshire kicked off the season with Ice Climbing for all abilities and a successful Mount Washington mountaineering summit attempt. Crater Lakes Snowshoe 4 of 4 Beginner Snowshoe

VetEx will snowshoe to Crater Lakes Saturday the 30th of March. This will be our fourth and final  snowshoe of the season.  The Crater Lakes Snowshoe is a beginner snowshoe.  This day trip is appropriate for all abilities and those who have never been on snowshoes.  Snowshoes sponsored by Kahtoola. March 16th Mt. Elbert Snowshoe 3 of 4

VetEx will climb Mt. Elbert (14,440 feet) Saturday the 16th of March. This will be our third snowshoe of the season.  The Mt.Elbert snowshoe will be intermediate in difficulty and any bad weather will make the summit an even greater challenge. VetEx Snowshoe Meet-Up 2 Mt.Yale

VetEx will climb Mt.Yale (14,420) feet Saturday the 2nd of February. This will be our second snowshoe of the season.  The Mt.Yale snowshoe will be intermediate in difficulty and any bad weather will make the summit an even greater challenge. If you have never climbed a Colorado 14er before, this snowshoe is not for you.

VetEx Snowshoe Meet-up 1: Rocky Mountain National Park Saturday January 19th with special Guest Team Rubicon

VetEx invites all of Colorado’s Veterans (and out of state veterans) to Snowshoe the land defended this January 19th.  We welcome our friends at Team Rubicon to join us.  This will be the first of 3 snowshoe trips this season and it will be our easiest.  Beginners come on out and give this one  a
