Jocelyn's Story

After high school, Jocelyn served in the US Air Force as a Command Post / Airlift Operations controller. She trained in Texas, Mississippi, and Illinois and was stationed in Incirlik, Turkey, and Ramstein, Germany. After separating from the Air Force, Jocelyn moved back to her home state of Washington. She currently has a day job working as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Instructional Designer for Amazon in Seattle. Outside of work Jocelyn can be found improving her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills and getting outside as much as possible. Jocelyn has successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341') in Tanzania, a handful of 14ers in Colorado, and many of peaks and volcanoes across Washington, California, and Oregon. She attended a VetEx trip in 2021 and knew this is something she wanted to be a part of. She looks forward to having the opportunity to combining her love of the outdoors and passion for giving back to the veteran community.
