Team,

I had the opportunity yesterday to be interviewed by Voice America’s Maureen.  While we do not have a specific healing mission, a lot of our work at Veterans Expeditions, ends up having a healing effect.  I think this always happens when you leave the rush of information and the assault of every day life behind you and get outside.

The interview is an hour long, love to hear what you have to say about this and your own experiences!

Hi Stacy,
Here’s a bit of feedback I got from our show a few weeks ago. One woman emailed that she doesn’t know anyone in the military and was extremely interested in hearing about the military experience from a vet (one of the people who may be too shy to approach and ask a vet questions). Another found your discussion of vets experiencing culture shock surprisingly familiar; she experienced culture shock in the 1970s when she had lived outside the US and then came back; she said it was really confusing as the concept of culture shock took years for her to connect to what she experienced.

I’m interested in hearing any comments from vets about this show – please share!

Best of luck to all!

Thanks Maureen! The veterans who have heard it have all been very supportive! It was great to be on the show. If your listeners are interested, we’d be happy to speak with them directly about any questions, comments, or ideas they might have!
