Dan's Story

Enlisting out of high school in 2004, Dan served as an Infantryman in the Army National Guard for 8 years, deploying to Afghanistan in 2008. His passion for the outdoors includes mountaineering, skiing, rock and ice climbing. He was introduced to Veterans Expeditions in 2013 as a participant and now enjoys connecting veterans while running VetEx trips in the Northeast as a leader. Dan is currently a firefighter in the FDNY.
