About the event

Just getting into mountaineering? Want to knock out one of Washington's iconic 5 volcanoes? Join us for a two day climb of Mount Adams!

Mount Adams (South Route) doesn't have glaciated terrain so it's a great place to develop your mountaineering skills. The South Climb of Mount Adams is 13.5 miles and has 6,735ft elevation gain. Despite the lack of glaciers, it is still a challenging route with steep elevation gain, a soul-crushing (but fun!) false summit, sweeping views of Washington and Oregon, and terrain-depending, some sweet glissading!

Participants should have a good fitness level and will be expected to bring their own equipment for this trip. Gear includes: Ice axe, crampons, helmet, tent, and any other essential overnight equipment. VetEx does have a small gear closed avaialble, should you not be able to obtain the items in advance of the trip.

Have a question, need to borrow gear, or want to get on the waitlist for the trip? Email jocelyn@vetexpeditions.com

You must complete the VetEx Waiver prior to attending. One ticket per person. DO NOT sign up another individual. We do not refund tickets 2 weeks from the event or less.
