Climb Mount Hood in the Cascades (Intermediate)

Join Veteran's Expeditions on a climb up a classic volcano in the Pacific Northwest!

This single-day trip is approximately 7 miles round trip with 5,300 feet of elevation gain to the summit, so participants will also need a good base level of fitness to be able to complete this climb. Participants must come with their own mountaineering boots for this event (you can rent if you don't own), appropriate clothing, food and water, and the other essential outdoors equipment. You will also need crampons, ice axe (preferably two), and a mountaineering helmet. We can provide some mountaineering equipment if you don't have any.

Requirements: To sign up for this trip, you must have prior experience using crampons and ice axe, including knowing how to self-arrest a fall.
