Climb Silver Star Mountain in the North Cascades (Advanced)

Advanced Requirements: To sign up for this advanced trip, you must have attended a previous PNW VetEx event first. 

Join Veteran's Expeditions on a classic North Cascades mountaineering objective to the summit of Silver Star Mountain! This trip will take two days and cover 8 miles with 5,500 feet of elevation gain.

Participants will be required to bring their own mountaineering boots (you can rent if you don't own), helmet, ice axe, crampons, appropriate outdoor clothing, food and water, and the other essential outdoors equipment (10 Essentials). It is recommended that participants have previous experience with using ice axes and crampons, as well as climbing 4th class rock. You will need an excellent base level of mountain fitness to be able to gain the summit.
