Advanced Requirements: To sign up for this advanced trip, you must have attended a previous PNW VetEx event first.
Experience one of Washington's most iconic trails without the challenge of acquiring a permit. Join in on that alpine start for a single day thru-hike of the Echantments. Walk alongside the mountain goats, take in the glistening lakes, and participate in the classic PNW activity of larch hunting!
This is a long and challenging day. This hike is 22 miles on wooded and rocky terrain with around 5,000ft of elevation gain, crossing the infamous Asgard's Pass. While not technical, a high degree of fitness and endurance will be required to make the most of this hike.
