Mt. Baker Mountaineering

Join Veteran's Expeditions on a 3-day climb up Mount Baker in the Pacific Northwest! We will be taking either the Coleman-Deming or Easton route, depending on conditions. This is a roped-up glacier climb, and participants are expected to already have experience with ice axes and crampons, with the ability to self-arrest at a minimum. This climb will take 3 days, with one day to refresh glacier travel and rescue skills. Participants must come with their own equipment for this event, to include a helmet, ice axe, crampons, mountaineering boots, harness with glacier travel kit, appropriate clothing, food and water, overnight gear, and the other essential outdoors equipment (VetEx will provide team ropes). It is about 8 miles with 7,300 feet of elevation gain to the summit, so participants will also need a good base level of fitness to be able to complete this climb. Have a question?
