About the event
Join Veteran's Expeditions on a climb up a classic volcano in the Pacific Northwest! Participants must come with their own equipment for this event, to include a helmet, ice axe (two preferably), crampons, mountaineering boots, appropriate clothing, food and water, and the other essential outdoors equipment. Additionally, if participants wish to bring an alpine touring ski or splitboard setup with them, we will have the option to split into two groups on the descent. Let the leader know what you plan to do so we can gauge interest and leader availability to have the two different forms of travel. It is about 4 miles up with 5,300 feet of elevation gain to the summit, so participants will also need a good base level of fitness to be able to complete this climb. Have a question?
