About the event
Join Veteran's Expeditions on a backcountry ski tour up a classic volcano in the Pacific Northwest! This is for those people with an alpine touring ski setup or splitboard only (no Nordic/XC skis, no downhill only skis/board, no rentals). Participants must come with their own equipment for this event, to include an avalanche beacon, probe, and shovel. Participants will need avalanche training (AIARE I or similar) and prior experience with backcountry touring. It is 6 miles up with 5,700 feet of elevation gain to the crater rim, so participants will also need a good base level of fitness to be able to complete this climb. Have a question? One ticket per person. You cannot sign up another individual.
