For 25 years the Monarch Crest Crank has been a staple mountain biking event on the most iconic trail system. This is a charity ride benefiting local Salida non-profit Veterans Expeditions. Non-vets, vets, everyone is welcome to attend this event.

Description
The Monarch Crest Crank is a mountain bike event along one of IMBA’s Epic mountain bike trails - The Monarch Crest. Join us on Saturday, August 29th, in Poncha Springs for this long-standing fundraising event now benefiting Veterans Expeditions, which helps military and veterans build a lasting community outdoors.
Your entry fee will include the Monarch Crest ride, on-course support, rider fuel, water, electrolytes, shuttle to the Monarch Crest, a post-ride party at Chipeta Park in Poncha Springs with live music, food vendors, beer vendors, and a giant raffle. Grand prize of the raffle is a new mountain bike provided by Subculture Cycles. You will also receive some gear from our sponsors and a rider number plate for your bike in the rider packet you receive at the sign in.
