VetFest New York (Beginner to Expert)

VetFest #2 of 3 is in Lake Placid New York. The climbing opportunities abound in this corner of the Adirondacks. Come join us for two days of ice climbing, a social evening with VetEx's new films, beer, pizza, and our infamous raffle where everyone goes home with gear.

We meet up at T-Max -n- Topo's Hostel in Lake Placid New York on Friday evening where we will assign bunks, get you the gear you need, and go over the climbing plan for Saturday. We will serve breakfast and lunch for the climbs on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night we will provide pizza from Old Mountain Coffee in Keene. Our Saturday social will be here as well. We will climb all day Saturday and as long on Sunday as folks want to climb. This is a very special place. We love coming here to climb!

There will be no food served on Friday. You are welcome to bring food to the hostel or order food from there. A gear list will be provided to you. We need to know your boot size if you need boots. Your climbing group will provide climbing tools and technical gear. You will grab your harness, helmet, boots, and crampons from us on Friday evening. If you are coming with your own gear, please let us know. And again, we need your boot size. Please email your boot size to trip leader Nick Watson nick@vetexpeditions.com. Bring cash for the raffle. Snowshoes, ice tools, climbing rope, back packs, gear from our sponsors to be won by you.

You must complete the VetEx Waiver prior to attending. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your ticket.

One ticket per person. DO NOT sign up another individual. You may pay for another individual, but you must upload their name and info. Failure to do so will result in that ticket’s cancellation.
