Winter Backpacking at Mount Baker for Veterans Day (Beginner)

Join Veteran's Expeditions on a wintery snow camping overnight near Mount Baker for Veterans Day weekend! This is an excellent introduction to snow camping for those who are interested in extending their backpacking to all seasons!

This trip will take two days and cover about 4-5 miles with 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Beginner Requirements: Anyone can join this trip! Participants will be required to bring their own snowshoes (you can rent if you don't own), appropriate winter outdoor clothing, food and water, and the other essential outdoors equipment (10 Essentials). We have tents, stoves, and sleeping pads to loan out if needed. This trip is beginner friendly but participants should have a good base level of mountain fitness.
