Richard Salas

After graduating from high school in El Paso, TX in May 2006, Richard enlisted in the Air Force as a cryptologic linguist. After his military service, Richard earned a B.S. Environmental Engineering from Colorado State University. He now serves an as environmental engineering consultant.

He was introduced to VetEx while he was climbing Denali with a private party and has been involved with the organization as a volunteer outdoor leader ever since. When he's not working he spends much of his time staying fit and active to include backpacking, rock/ice climbing, lifting, mountaineering, trail running and yoga.
